About our products
What's the difference between OEM, remanufactured, and compatible cartridges?
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) cartridges are made by the printer brand (Canon, HP, Brother) and shipped in their original sealed packaging. Remanufactured cartridges are genuine OEM cartridges that have been collected, professionally cleaned, refilled, and tested. Compatible/generic cartridges are brand-new third-party cartridges that imitate the OEM design. Elvixco sells genuine OEM and remanufactured options.
Will using a non-OEM cartridge void my printer warranty?
Under the U.S. Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, printer manufacturers cannot void your warranty simply because you used a non-OEM cartridge. They would need to prove that the non-OEM cartridge specifically caused the damage. In practice, the remanufactured cartridges we sell are designed to function within manufacturer specifications.
How do I know if a cartridge is compatible with my printer?
Every Elvixco product page lists the printer models it's compatible with. Always cross-check against your printer manual or look up your printer's "supported cartridges" online. If you're unsure, email sales@Elvixco.com with your printer model and we'll confirm.
What page yield should I expect?
Page yields listed on each product page are estimates based on the industry-standard 5% page coverage. Heavy graphics, photo printing, or full-color documents will reduce yield; light text printing may extend it.
About ordering and shipping
How long until my order ships?
We process orders within 1–2 business days. Once shipped, U.S. standard delivery takes 3–7 business days. Tracking information is emailed automatically.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, free standard shipping is available on U.S. orders over $45. Below $45, shipping is calculated at checkout based on destination.
Do you ship outside the United States?
Not at this time. We currently ship within the United States only. Email sales@Elvixco.com if you have a question about a specific location.
About returns and warranty
What's your return policy?
30 days from delivery. Unopened cartridges can be returned for a refund; opened/installed cartridges can be returned if defective. See our Refund Policy for details.
What if my cartridge doesn't work?
Contact us at sales@Elvixco.com within 30 days of delivery. Include your order number and a description of the issue (a photo of the printer's error message is helpful). For confirmed defects, we'll send a prepaid return label and replace or refund the cartridge.
My printer says the cartridge isn't recognized. What should I do?
First, try removing and reseating the cartridge — make sure the protective tape is removed and the cartridge clicks fully into place. Some printers also need a power cycle to recognize a new cartridge. If it still isn't recognized, contact us at sales@Elvixco.com and we'll help troubleshoot or replace it.

Is my payment information secure?
Yes. All payments are processed through Shopify's PCI-compliant checkout, which uses SSL encryption and never stores your full card number on our servers.
